Electrical Fabrication Apprentice

Candidate will grow their experiences in the industrial electrical trade.

Essential Functions include but are not limited to:

Must have a fantastic work ethic and attitude. Must be able to follow directions from supervisors and be open-minded. Training will be provided daily but prior relevant experience is a priority in this position. Candidate must be punctual and present.

Must be able to read tape measures and levels. Recommended that candidate is able to measure, cut, strip, pull, and terminate wire, and install conduit, using measuring instruments, hand tools, and power tools. Understanding of voltages and test meter readings is preferred.

Maintain a lean and clean work area. Maintain tools, vehicles, and equipment and keep parts and supplies in order. Perform semi-skilled and unskilled laboring duties related to the installation, maintenance and repair of a wide variety of electrical systems and equipment.

Candidate will be asked to do labor other than just electrical. This could be assisting with metal fabrication, operating a man lift or fork lift, painting, cleaning, sweeping, construction, or any other specialty labor.

Must be able to pass random drug or alcohol tests. Valid Driver's License required. Must be able to pass Color Identification Test and Basic Skills Test. Steel-toed work boots required. Presentable work clothes and personal grooming must be maintained. ARSK & TWIC Card preferred, but not necessary.

Candidate must be at least 18 years of age or older. High School Diploma, GED, or Equivalency Required. Ideal candidate has either 2 years of technical school or 2 years of field experience or a Journeyman certification. Starting Pay is based on experience. We work 7 AM - 3:30 PM M-F with a 30 minute lunch break. Benefits include PTO, potential for OT, and a Starting Bonus.
